Rock Bottom String Band is a high-energy group rooted in Texas, known for their rowdy blend of bluegrass, punk, folk, and Americana. They believe deeply in being true to yourself, which is why they’re outspoken about who they are – a band with LGBTQ+ members who stand firmly for bodily autonomy, equality, and against white supremacy and patriarchy. Beyond their powerful live shows, they aim to forge connections between people who might seem different on paper but share a common humanity. With a strong community across Texas and the country, from Alabama to Wisconsin, Rock Bottom String Band uses music as a space to celebrate that we’re more alike than different – and to create moments where everyone feels seen, valued, and ready to dance.
Gus Clark
& The Least of His Problems

For over seven years, Central Texas-based musician Gus Clark has led The Least of His Problems as a standout vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. After years of hitchhiking and busking across the U.S., he returned to woodworking—before realizing his true path was full-time on stage.Sonically, Clark channels golden-era American traditions—1950s–’60s honky‑tonk and classic country—while weaving in Tex‑Mex, Western‑Swing, pre‑war blues, Zydeco, and R&B. His tenor is soulful and richly emotive, delivering a sound that’s both timeless and refreshingly personal. Whether igniting dance-floor barn-burners or shaping tender heartbreak ballads, his performances brim with raw sincerity and unmistakable presence. Over the years, he has shared the stage with Americana heavyweights including Charley Crockett, Pat Green, Jim Lauderdale, Wayne “The Train” Hancock, Rosie Flores, Pokey LaFarge, and Whitney Rose, further solidifying his place in the roots music landscape.
